2024 FCATVA Spring Kickoff Ride!!

May 18, 2024 – Crandon International Off-Road Raceway, Crandon, WI

Come join us as we once again partner with our friends at the Crandon International Off-Road Raceway for our Spring Kickoff Ride!

The day will start with our monthly meeting at 9am in the pavilion. Food will be for sale at the track courtesy of Boone’s Burger Stand starting at 10. MANDATORY riders meeting will take place at 11:30. Ride will start at 12 Noon from the Raceway pavilion with a parade lap around the World Famous Big House track. From the track, we will head out to explore the beautiful Forest County ATV/UTV Trails.

We will be doing 3 different routes this year and letting you choose which one you’d like to do! All groups will do a lap around Crandon International Off-Road Raceway (weather permitting).

RED ROUTE – 90 Miles – Ride through Hiles toward Popple River where we’ll stop at Popple River Brew Pub. The ride will leave there and head South down the Nicolet State Trail and cross back over to the Wolf River State Trail where we’ll bring you back to the track.

YELLOW ROUTE – 60 Miles – We’ll take the long way North and into Argonne where you have a choice of Ed’s Main Street Inn or Kathy’s Inn for refreshments. We’ll back track some of the route back to the track.

GREEN ROUTE – 30 miles – Headed West from the track, we’ll hit Mole Lake Casino for refreshments and some great entertainment. Once we’re done, we’ll continue West to the Wolf River State Trail and North back into Crandon.

BLUE GROUP – Track only – The Blue Group will do a lap around the famous Crandon International Off-Road Raceway where so many legends have raced.

This is also the first day of our season long Poker Run! Books can be purchased for $10 the morning of the event and your first stamp can be the Raceway!

2024 New Rider Ride

May 4, 2024 – Wabeno Trailhead, Wabeno, WI

Are you new to riding? Just purchase a machine but not sure where or how to ride? Want to learn more about our area or ride with the people who make the trails happen? Well, join us on May 4th!

Forest County ATV Association is proud to introduce you to the sport!

This guided ride is catered toward people who are new to the ATV/UTV Scene and will provide a relaxed slower paced ride through some of the best trails in Forest County. Trail Patrol Ambassadors, WATVA Board Members, and DNR ATV Safety instructors will be on the ride to assist with questions and provide positive feedback on trail ethics and answer any questions you may have.

We will be starting from the trailhead in Wabeno, making a lunch stop and will be taking a different route back to the Wabeno trailhead, stopping along the way to answer questions or provide feedback.

With so many new riders entering the sport of ATV/UTV Riding, we want to make sure we start you off with the correct information and tools to make sure you have thousands of safe and fun miles!!!

2024 FCATVA/Women in the Outdoors Women’s Ride

June 29th, 2024 – Padus Nicolet Gun Club, Wabeno, WI

Women, it’s your time to shine!

Come join us as we partner with Wisconsin Women in the Outdoors for our first Women’s Ride!

The day starts with our monthly club meeting at the Padus-Nicolet Gun Club at 9am. After the meeting, it’s time to hop behind the wheel or handlebars ladies!

Join us for a guided 40 mile ride through the beautiful Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest. Make sure to pack a lunch as we’ll be stopping to eat at a rustic campsite along the babbling Peshtigo River. Forest County ATV Association will be providing water for the ride. The ride then heads back to the Padus Nicolet Gun Club for a recap of the day and meet and greet.

This ride is meant for ladies to get behind the wheel or handlebars, not the men! The men are allowed to be on the ride but not be the drivers.

It’ll be a great time of riding in Forest County, come join us!

2024 FCATVA Summer Long Poker Run!

Last years End of the Season / Poker Run Book Turn In Party was HISTORIC! Come join us this year as we make it even better!

The event starts with Poker Run book turn in, live music, silent auction and raffle prizes at 2pm.

We will be bringing back the Show ‘n Shine with prizes awarded to the top UTV’s. Details are still being worked out for categories and times.

Make sure to collect your stamps from all our map sponsors this year and make the 2024 season the best one yet!
